Who you are buying from

Stacks is operated by Jose Araneta. These terms apply to AI credit purchases made on this website by U.S. residents who are at least 18, have legal capacity to make this purchase under the laws of their state, and have a verified Stacks account. For help with an order, use Stacks support or email support@mystacksapp.com. Include the purchase reference; never send your password or full card details.

A one-time purchase for your account

The pack quantity and price are shown before checkout. Prices are in U.S. dollars; applicable tax and the final total appear in Stripe Checkout before you authorize payment. This is not a subscription. Apple Pay is offered where supported by your device, wallet, and checkout. Stripe processes payments; Stacks does not receive your full card number.

Credits belong to the Stacks account confirmed before checkout, regardless of the email or name on the payment method. Purchased credits accumulate, have no scheduled expiry, and do not require PRO. They are not money, transferable, redeemable for cash except under this policy or applicable law, or a promise of a fixed number of outputs. Review the credit cost shown by the supported AI service before each request. Storage and other service limits continue to apply.

Included PRO credits are separate

An eligible verified PRO subscription includes 10 AI credits each monthly billing period. Unused included credits expire at the end of that billing period and do not roll over. Buying a pack does not buy, renew, or change PRO. Purchased credits remain on your account if PRO ends.

Buying credits does not enable AI access

When checkout identifies a purchase as prelaunch, AI generation is not yet available for your account. The purchase stores credits for future use and does not enable AI access. No AI launch date is promised.

You may cancel a prelaunch purchase for a full refund before AI access becomes available for that account. If access remains unavailable 30 calendar days after payment, we automatically initiate a full refund, including the tax collected on that purchase. The deadline is not automatically extended. If access becomes available first, we post a notice in Your purchases on this site. You have seven calendar days from the later of usable access and posting that notice to request a refund of a wholly unused pack. Your purchase record shows the deadline. A first use ends this voluntary unused-pack refund window.

Refunds and payment problems

For purchases made when AI access is available, a wholly unused pack is refundable on request within seven calendar days of payment. Request it from Your purchases on this site, or contact support. Credits covered by a pending refund are held and cannot be spent; after a successful refund they are removed. A request or a pending provider status is not confirmation that funds have reached your bank. Bank processing times vary.

After use or after the voluntary refund window, purchases are generally final. This does not exclude remedies for billing errors, duplicate or unauthorized charges, non-delivery, service discontinuation, or rights required by law. Contact support if any of these apply. Refunds are normally sent through the original payment method. If the payment processor confirms that this cannot be completed, support will arrange a verified alternative remedy. We do not redirect refunds merely on request. If your bank is reviewing a disputed payment, we coordinate the remedy through that dispute rather than issuing a duplicate refund.

If you delete your Stacks account, unused purchased credits are frozen for reconciliation and refund, including the unused portion of a partially used pack. We calculate that portion from the original amount paid for that pack, including its associated tax, rounded to the nearest cent. Requests still processing are reconciled before the unused amount is finalized. Account deletion need not wait for bank processing. We retain the minimum financial, consent, and fraud-prevention records required for reconciliation and applicable retention obligations. If we permanently discontinue redemption of purchased credits, we will provide a remedy for remaining unused purchased credits consistent with applicable law.

AI results and credit usage

AI-generated content may contain errors or differ from your prompts, reference media, or expectations. Getting a result you prefer may require multiple generations, and additional generations may use more credits at the cost shown before you submit them. Further attempts do not guarantee a preferred result.

Creative preferences. Credits pay for AI processing, not a guaranteed artistic outcome. Subjective dissatisfaction with a completed generation does not, by itself, qualify for restoration of the credits used. Credits used for a confirmed technical failure or missing output are restored once the request is reconciled. A pending or unknown request is investigated before another charge is made. Incorrect charges and services not provided as described are handled under our support and refund policies. This acknowledgment does not limit the Refund Policy, remedies for failure to provide the purchased service, or rights required by law.

Review before sharing. Check outputs for accuracy, likeness, unwanted details, and suitability before using or publishing them. Outputs may resemble content generated for other people. We do not guarantee exclusivity, copyright protection, or that every output is cleared for commercial use. You remain responsible for obtaining any permissions required for your intended use.

Rights to your inputs. Only submit prompts, photos, videos, voices, or other material you have the right to use and share with the AI provider. Obtain any legally required permission from people whose likeness, voice, or personal information you submit. Do not upload confidential or sensitive material without appropriate authorization.

Processing, errors, and retries. Review the credit cost and provider disclosure in the AI workflow before each request. Costs can differ by model, settings, and feature. A new generation you submit may incur a new credit charge. Closing a screen, a network timeout, or choosing not to use a result does not by itself establish that provider processing failed. Contact support about missing outputs, blocked requests, technical failures, or duplicate charges; their processing and billing status must be checked separately. Checking status or recovering delivery of the same request does not authorize a new generation or another credit charge.

Provider processing and privacy. AI processing may send your prompts and selected media to an external provider. The Grok workflow uses xAI. Provider retention and processing practices are described in the AI Feature Disclosure and Privacy Policy. Do not assume that AI submissions are processed only on your device or immediately deleted. A purchase acknowledgment is not consent to unrelated training, marketing, or data uses.

Protecting your account

Only buy credits for your own account and with an authorized payment method. Purchase and balance limits apply. We may pause new purchases or hold affected credits while investigating a payment or account-security issue. A payment review does not remove your right to contact support or exercise applicable legal rights.

Website purchases and Apple purchases

Stacks administers refunds for purchases on this website under these purchase terms. Apple-billed purchases use Apple’s applicable refund process. Using Apple Pay on this website does not make the purchase an App Store purchase. Nothing here limits applicable consumer or cardholder rights.

Privacy and other terms

We use essential, secure session cookies to keep you signed in and protect checkout. Account identifiers, order history, consent versions, payment references, and limited billing information are processed to fulfill purchases, prevent fraud, handle refunds, and meet legal obligations. See the Stacks Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. These purchase terms control the credit-specific promises for the accepted purchase; later changes do not retroactively remove them.
